Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the supply and delivery of ortho phosphoric acid worth an estimated £21.6 million.
As part of its work to improve the overall cost effectiveness and operation of its water process, Thames Water is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of Ortho phosphoric Acid 75 % for plumb solvency control in potable water. Scope of the contract is to supply and deliver the chemical to Thames’ sites whilst also offering technical support when required.
The framework agreement will run for an initial 3 years with extension options of a further 3 years plus 2 years.
